Pharmacy Workflow
The Pharmacy Workflow application is a part of the KHS claims adjudication system used by KHS to process medical claims from healthcare providers. Essentially, this system receives claims and referral requests as either faxes or online submissions. It then processes them, issuing either an approval or denial for each, based on the pharmacy technician and phamacist input to the workflow. The State of California added 23 additional data elements, as well additional specific requirments for this Pharmacy Workflow.
I implemented the new requirements from the state using C#, Entity Framework, REST and SOAP sevices, and MVC. The tools used in this project were Visual Studio 2010 and 2013, Nuget, LinqPad, SQL, SQL Server, SQL Server Profiler, Fiddler, TFS, and agile project management techniques. I was the project leader and scrum master. I led daily the stand-up, scrum review, and scrum planning meetings.
